We’ve delivered a range of AI exploration projects for different public sector clients over the past few years, starting with our work at Cabinet Office. We’ve looked at the feasibility of using AI to make recommendations for Probation practitioners, prototyped adaptive online learning for adults and helped develop the UK Government’s portfolio of AI assurance techniques.

None of this work has been about finding solutions where chatbots or LLMs can be deployed – they’ve all been problem-driven and user-centred rather than technology-driven.

We’ve recently launched Trellis – an exciting joint venture with seed funding from Scottish Government’s Learning Directorate that aims to bring frontier technology to schools so teachers can spend less time on admin and more time delivering great learning experiences.
